Summary: Mateo staff are kind, caring and professional. The hotel was a joy to stay at! If you’re concerned about it not being on the European side, just be a bit clever with travelling options (e.g. the 15 bus to Üsküdar then a quick ferry to the very heart of downtown Istanbul at Eminönü).
