The apartment is located in the urbanisation Vallpineda which is famous for its coziness, beauty and quietness. A perfect place to escape all the beautiful (but crowded) cities close by. The impeccable La Palmera apartment is a perfect place to enjoy Sitges and the beautiful neighboring villages. You can visit vineyards and olive oil yards, eat cheap and fresh Mediterranean food in many typical Spanish restaurants, rent a boat in the port of Sitges, hike in the mountains (such as Parc del Garraf), visit Barcelona, or swim, picnic, play backgammon and work on your tan on several gorgeous beaches close by the apartment.
Getting Around:
On a 3 minutes walk, there is a small supermarket. If you have a car or motorbike you can park on the streets of Vallpineda for free and drive within 5 minutes to the city center of Sitges. There is also a busstation 5 minutes from the apartment that goes directly to the center of Sitges. You can also walk to the center in approximately 30 minutes.
You can go to Barcelona by car (around 30 min) and by train (around 40 min to Barcelona Sants).
Other cities around Sitges are also worth it to visit! Such as Sant Pere de Ribes (they have the best breakfast at Cabaler Cafe), or visit the beaches and/or the Rambla of Vilanova, go for a traditional restaurant in Canyelles and/or or visit some other beautiful places around the coast (Garraf, Calafell, Tarragona etc.)!
