Positive: The location of the hotel was 10/10! Smack bang in the centre of Palma on a gorgeous cobbled street. Everything exceeded our expectations and we loved our stay here. We don't often repeat hotel stays but we will definitely be coming back! The hotel design is exquisite and nothing like we've ever seen before - we really appreciated the trendy Morrocan finishes that made us feel like we were staying in a real Riad. The room absolutely blew us away and we were even kindly upgraded at check-in. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom had a double shower and HUGE bath which we thoroughly enjoyed. It felt like a true 5 star experience and was worth every penny. The hotel oozes luxury and every interaction we had with the hotel staff was top-notch - special shout-out to Carlos who handled our check-in and check-out and made sure we had everything we needed. The staff in the cocktail bar were also excellent as were the team on breakfast. The staff were very responsive whenever I messaged via Whatsapp which I love because nowadays I really can't be bothered to place a phone call and using whatsapp is so easy and convenient. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay here and cannot wait to come back!

Negative: There was very little we didn't like about the hotel but these are just some minor points: - The design of the bath tub is tricky with the tap placement. We were advised to set the tap to hot to fill up the bath and then top up with cold water to adjust to our preferred temperature. The problem is that the tap is on the other side of the bath and it's impossible to reach unless you're 7 feet tall. My partner is 6.5ft and wasn't able to reach it. The only way to adjust the temperature is by some very precarious spider monkeying round the edges of the bath, which is very dangerous as it's slippery and there's a chance you could fall into very hot water. The tap should be on the other side of the bath, nearest the step, so it's easy to adjust the temperature. We are young and sprightly so just about managed but someone less able would struggle. - We tend to run hot at night and like to be able to adjust the temperature of our room all year round. The A/C wasn't available as it was January, which is pretty standard in Spain unless you have an individual A/C unit, and that's fine. We were told to open the windows if we wanted to cool the room but the window has no latch so it constantly blew closed. Adding a latch to the window would resolve the issue. - The hotel advertises soundproofing in the rooms but we could hear everything in the hallway outside the room, for example when other rooms were being cleaned. It made us a bit paranoid that people outside could hear us in the room. It is true that we couldn't hear any other rooms or external noise with the windows shut.

Summary: The hotel was 10/10 and we will definitely be back!
