Beautiful views and lovely space. We enjoyed our stay very much. 10 min drive to Zoagli (beach/square/restaurants) where we spent most of our time. Simonetti is the best local gelato place around! Must try :) we hired a car and parked on the street for free which is a 2 min walk/climb to the accommodation. There was a washing room in a separate room below the accommodation which was super helpful since we had to clean our towels (from swimming everyday in the sea), swimsuits and clothes etc. We cooked breakfast and dinner and had it outdoors overlooking the stunning sea and mountain views. The kitchen is well equipped (could do with a chopping board and better knives!) otherwise it served 6 of us just fine. There was also a bbq So we had that for one of the evenings. There was only one shower room but we managed ok! There was another toilet downstairs outside of the main house which was helpful too. In terms of traveling to the Cinque Terre, we took the train from Rapallo (parked our car there) and spent a day visiting two of the villages (Riomaggiore, Monterosso) it was a bit hectic given the train connections, crowd and hot weather. Very touristy and packed compared to Zoagli. In terms of groceries we picked up fresh fruit and veg from the local deli around 10 mins walk downhill from the house. Lovely focaccia and ciabatta!!! Or we drove to a small Carrefour in Rapallo for more options. Above all the host's assistant Samira welcomed us and found us (since we couldn't find the entrance to the house). The number of the house is actually not shown on site and the GPS will take you slightly further than the actual entrance (28) which is a concrete staircase sandwiched between 26 and 24. Anyway we managed and had a wonderful time. Car is a must!
