Summary: Our host owner Francesca was in attendance and very engaged in the agribusiness of the Villa. We learned from her the Villa was originally constructed in 16 th century hunting lodge of the DeMedici family. We were given a complimentary wine tasting and tour of the Villa’s production facility. The local town of Vinci was hosting a 400 year anniversary of Leonardo de Vinci and tours of the museum. The townsfolk dressed in Renaissance period attire and had many street vendors with art related demonstrations. We also visited Lucca, a high point of the stay. A walled city with a lot of attractions. The breakfast provided was underwhelming but tastefully served.

Summary: Villa Dianella is beautiful! The surroundings are gorgeous and the villa itself is well kept and holds a lot of history. The staff were all accommodating and incredibly nice. I highly recommend the cooking class with their chef- he’s hilarious. Dianella is situated very close to some small towns, which make nice day trips.

Summary: We had the most amazing stay at Villa Dianella.
Perfect room, delicious breakfast, beautiful property, and amazing staff.
We were surrounded by the olive trees and grape vines and the garden and building were very well maintained.
I would highly recommend getting a car though because it is not too close to anything other than the small town.
I can't recommend this place enough!
