In the beautiful Elsa Valley, Villa Passione is a light-filled three-bedroom barn conversion with a sprawling lush green garden. The villa is conveniently located between Corazzano, a nearby town handy for local shops and restaurants, and Castelfiorentino which hosts the bustling In/Canti & Banchi in the fourth week of May. This is a wonderful home for three couples to share or a family, as there’s plenty of room for everyone to find their own space. Outside there is a swimming pool and a white-painted pergola which creates a shady spot with sofas on the large terrace. Villa Passione is filled with creative touches that make a stay here such a pleasure: comfortable beds, a bath and a shower big enough for two and a kitchen with the gadgets you really want on a lazy summer morning, from juicer to espresso machine. Drift outside through the French doors and there’s a table and chairs for breakfast al fresco. There is also a small lake on the grounds – just ask the owner Rita for access. She lives close by and is available if you need her advice on where to visit in the area. Rita can also share her culinary secrets in a cookery course, paid for locally. If you’d like to explore the local area, Gambassi Terme is 18km away, where you can bathe in the therapeutic waters and admire the local glassware. Further afield is San Gimignano (31km) and its medieval towers, enticing shops and a range of restaurants.
