We recommend climbing the mountain peaks Gjeitadalstind, Ulvanosa, Høgetinden, Malmangernuten and Melderskin. In winter there is good skiing in Olalia near Etne with groomed cross-country trails and alpine skiing at Røldal Ski Center. A boat can be hired.
