A canoe on Lake Skarvannet for unforgettable trips in nature for hire. The holiday home is within walking dis-tance of fine, small beaches both by the lake and the sea. Jegertunet holiday center 500 meters away has a summer-open and heated outdoor swimming pool (for a fee), as well as a restaurant, kiosk, and interior de-sign shop. Close by you will find tennis courts, bowling alley, volleyball court, and a nice playground. Visit the village of Risør, preferably by ferry, where you can experience Risør's characteristic white wooden houses, saltwater aquarium, restaurants and festivals such as the wooden boat festival in August. Try fishing on the fjord from the shore or with a boat that can be rented nearby, or take a boat trip to the restaurants on Stangholmen. If you prefer not to rent a boat, a taxi boat can take you many nice places. At Stabbestad 19 km away, there is a spa hotel, golf course and mini golf. Only 23 km to “The Little Zoo” at Bro-kelandsheia, and the coastal towns of Kragerø and Tvedestrand are not far away. If you are considering a long weekend of relaxation in the winter outside the major winter destinations, this cabin can be recom-mended, with the possibility of cross-country skiing on the illuminated trail at Søndeled (15 km).
