Welcome to Risør! Holiday home in an attractive cottage field right by the town. Here you can find a volleyball court, ball pit for football and basketball as well as a communal swimming pool open throughout July. At the cabin area there is also a sandy beach with a lawn down by the Sørfjorden. At the marina, it is possible to fish from the water's edge or jetty. The house is well suited for two families or a small traveling group. The garden is secluded with a large partially covered terrace, heater, and lawn. Good sunny conditions, garden furniture, barbecue, dart board, table tennis and various outdoor games. The ground floor has a living room with TV and an open kitchen and dining area. A centrally located wood-burning stove ensures a pleasant atmosphere in winter. Free wireless internet throughout the house. Bathroom with underfloor heating, shower cubicle and washing machine. On the first floor, there are four bedrooms with a double bed in each room, and an open gallery with one single bed. Risør, the white town by the Skagerak, offers cozy streets, restaurants and niche shops. Many different events throughout the year, including the Chamber Music Festival, the Wild Wine Market and the Tree Boat Festival. The Culture Night at the end of April is also worth a visit. The saltwater aquarium at the Dampskipbrygga in the center of Risør and a trip to the Jettegrytene outside the city can also be recommended. From Risør town you can take a boat to Stangholmen, Risør's best kept secret, with Stangholmen Lighthouse, two restaurants and many different concerts on the outdoor stage throughout the summer. It is also possible to book a taxi boat cruise with swimming and fishing opportunities in the beautiful archipelago. It is only a 20-minute drive to 'Den lille Dyrehage' at Brokelandsheia with Norway's largest rainforest, and 25 minutes to Bokbyen Tvedestrand, the town on three floors, with a small pedestrian street and a cozy harbor area.
