Summary: The apartment itself is very large and the really amazing part is the view from the balcony. You have a gorgeous, unobstructed view of the water and mountains of Lake Como, along with a private beach area that you only share with their 1 other apartment next-door. It was stocked with pretty much everything you need - including a fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms.
A fair warning though- once you get here, unless you have rented a car, you will have extreme trouble getting a taxi or Uber anywhere as there are almost always no cars available. Also, the apartment was freezing cold (I know this is not the fault of the owner, as it is a government law that heating cannot be turned on at this point of year yet)- we slept under every quilt from the entire apartment and were still shivering both nights. Make sure to bring warm pyjamas and extra blankets unless you're staying during the part of the year heating can be on. One last thing- the stairs to get from the road to the apartment entrance are very steep and lengthy- try to pack lightly with your bags/suitcases, as it's extremely difficult hauling heavy items down and up them.
Overall, it was an amazing apartment and we loved sitting on the outer deck stargazing (with blankets of course!). It has a view that would make anyone envious!
