Our schoolhouse, yes it is actually an old school, is located on our farm Dovland in Birkenes. It's great for naturelovers. It has great walking and fishing possibilities, and it is one hour drive from Arendal, Grimstad, Lillesand and Kristiansand (Dyreparken, Ikea) which are all lovely coastal towns. It is 25 minutes from Evje with lots of shops, cafes, Mineralparken and Trollskogen. Our place is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and also families with kids. 20 minutes away is a small village Birketveit with a few shop, cafe, and great outdoor sports and play area, open to all. Plus there is a shop, playgrounds 5 km away.
It is very child friendly, with lots of toys, and equipment for children.
Borrow our boat, and do fishing in very nice lakes right next to the house. We also have some ski and skate avaiable to borrow.
During the winter you can chop your own Christmas tree to enjoy the holiday. Fire wood is included in the price for those cold nights.
