At the side of the two-bedroom cottage, a lovely covered veranda provides stunning views over the Serchio Valley and the surrounding hills, offering an ideal spot to relax. The front of the house faces the village, just a few minutes' walk away, as well as the impressive Apuan Mountain range.
For outdoor enthusiasts, Le Lunghe is perfectly situated near various hiking routes, making it an ideal location for hillwalkers. During the summer months, the local village hosts two vibrant festivals. The Medieval Festival features a historical re-enactment and additionally, the Food and Wine Tour to the Rocca di Sassi, showcasing the area's culinary and cultural heritage, is a highlight for visitors.
On the lawn, a 3.5-meter diameter, 90cm deep lightweight swimming pool offers a refreshing place to cool off, while a paved terrace and shaded dining area complete the outdoor space.

Castelnuovo offers a variety of restaurants, cafés, bars, shops, and a vibrant weekly market.
The town is also home to a train station providing convenient links to Lucca and beyond. By car, you can reach Lucca in 50 minutes, Pisa and its airport in 1.5 hours, Florence in 2 hours, and the stunning coastal villages of Cinque Terre in 2.5 hours. For a beach day, the nearest sandy shore is just over an hour away.
