Skei is known as one of Norway's best places for trail biking in the high mountains and nice family-friendly bike rides on pleasant country roads. Skei also has one of Norway's highest 18-hole golf courses, several nice fishing lakes and varied hiking trails. In winter there is a great ski area for young and old and a large, groomed network of cross-country ski trails. The Hunderfossen Family Park is only 45 minutes away.
