Positive: Very pleasant. Beautiful view across the fjord. Easy trip on the road to Andalsnes for provisions. Great access to the wonderful passes of Trollstiggen and Trollvegen, also the surrounding fjords. Lovely walking. We were just beginning to discover some of the old walking paths up the mountains above the fjord. Splendid! The Romsdalsgondalen cable cars are excellent. Also the Eggen Restaurant and footpaths at the top. Spectacular views. Local cafes, restaurants and bistro are very good. Great food. The shopping is also very good. Ferry across the Landfjorden (to Molde) is regular and quick.

Negative: Just two little temporary problems. 1. The Main road is noisy when traffic is passing. We soon got used to it, so not a problem really :) 2. The cabin is hard to find at first. Put the correct address (from Novasol) into your satnav and trust it! Approach it from direction of Isfjorden. Access to the car parking spot is a little tricky at first. We soon got used to it so also not a problem :) Watch out for Ticks! One of us discovered a tick on him, from walking in the forest above the house (not a problem, just be aware and check yourselves occasionally.)
