Half an hour's drive away is Treungen with boat rental on the Nisser, Telemark's largest inland lake, and if you are not lucky with the weather, there is an indoor playground right on the shore. A visit to the Z-Museum with collections of various items from their parents' and grandparents' childhood is recommended. At the tourist information there is a bike rental and the offer of a bike tour along the Treungbahn. At the beginning of August you can visit the 5-day Treungen Festival with various conserts. A day trip to the beautiful coastal town of Kragerø can also be recommended. One-time fee at the entrance to the cottage area, for later entrances and exits you will find a pass in the cottage.
