Pleasant holiday home with a great view of the Steinsfjorden. Large terrace and paving from which you can enjoy the view. Good with outdoor furniture, barbecue, and fire pit. The cabin has a spacious living room with a dining area and both a fireplace and wood stove for cold evenings. Nice kitchen with everything you need. One bedroom has a double bed, the other a double bed and a single bed. Bedroom number three with a single bed is shielded only by a curtain; there is no wall to this room, but it is unabashedly located at the end of the corridor. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Internet can be rented for NOK 300 per week on site. The cabin has Apple TV, but no TV channels. There are good fishing opportunities in Steinfjorden. Pike and perch are good here, and you don't need a fishing license. There is a rowing boat approx. 300 meters from the house, this can easily be brought onto the water with a winch. The boat must be taken up and down as there is no jetty, but it is right at the water's edge and not difficult to get out. The boat is included in the price. There are fine fishing waters for trout approx. 5 km away, a fishing license is required here. It is possible to drive there and park by the water. There are also hiking trails here that go all the way to Oslo. There is a separate sluicing area for fish at the cabin. In this area, you might see moose, roe deer, foxes and squirrels, as well as an enormous variety of birds. Field strawberries and raspberries in the area. We recommend day trips to Hadeland Glassworks, Kistefoss museum or a shopping trip to Hønefoss. At Åsa Landhandleri, 2.6 km away, you can buy local food and local beer. There is also a nice farm shop at Røyse. During winter, you can ski at Ringkollen about 15 km away. If you want bigger conditions, it is approx. 60 km to Norefjell with ski slopes for all ages and levels of expertise. Not rented out to youth groups.
