Beautiful holiday home on the idyllic holiday island Killingholmen in a quiet and sunny bay just outside Sætre in Drøbaksundet. A short boat ride from Oscarsborg, Drøbak Son, Hurum, Håøya - and Aker Brygge. The popular excursion sites Lykken og Hjelp are just a few steps away, and there are plenty of excellent swimming spots. Good fishing opportunities, and you can catch oysters right by the cottage. The holiday home has a large terrace and patio with garden furniture and barbecue, as well as a large trampoline for the children. The house has its own mooring 40 meters from the house and fantastic views over the sea and skerries. Only 40 minutes’ drive from Oslo city center. A quick stroll down to the seafront with the pier where you can sunbathe and swim. There is a bathing ladder into deep water and also possible to wade out from the side of the pier. Jetty and bathing area are shared with another cabin used by the owner. The holiday home has air conditioning. Morning sun and sun all day until late evening. Breakfast bath recommended! There is a rich bird life on the island and a lot of swans and ducks; if you are lucky you can also experience seeing deer up close. If you love picking berries and mushrooms, there are good opportunities for this. You can get in your own boat or rent a 13 foot dinghy with 9.9 hp by owner. It is not possible to drive over to the island, but there is free parking on the mainland, 200 meters as the crow flies from the cottage in the "southern village" Sætre. There is also a guest harbor here. It will only take you 5 minutes to get over to the island. In Sætre you will find, among other things, a liquor store, pharmacy, shopping center, several restaurants and outdoor seating. There are also golf courses, open visitor farms and many beaches in the area.
