This quality cottage with solid Norwegian wooden furniture, sits on a hilltop with the most breathtaking view you can ever imagine! When sitting on the terrace or in the living room, you have a full overview of everything happening on the fjord and in the village Olden. Enjoy your afternoon tea while, at a safe distance, you watch the great cruise boats anchoring up in the fjord, letting tourists on and off. The yard around the cottage is well kept and perfect for children. One double bed is 130 cm wide. A beach with shallow water is 4 km away. Salmon and trout in the river Oldenelven 1 km, trout and char in the lake Oldenvatnet 3 km. Olden is the entrance to the famous Oldendalen with the beautiful Oldenvatnet, majestic mountains, powerful waterfalls and the impressive Briksdalen Glacier. In the summer, go for guided glacier walks. Take your holiday here in the spring with blossoming fruit trees and snow on the mountain tops, or in summer when the climate is mild, or in autumn with berries, mushroom and magnificent mountain hikes. In addition to all the local sights in Olden and Stryn, you can go on day excursions to the picturesque Geiranger with its waterfalls, to the many sights in Sogn and to Norway's most western point Vestkapp and visit the monastery ruins here on the island Selja.
