With the help of a rental boat / kayaks, you can take trips in idyllic skerries out through Lindås sea locks to Lurefjorden and Fosenstraumen, which are popular fishing spots. Opposite road, a visit to the narrow Haukåsstraumen and further into Fjellangervågen is recommended. This main route is well marked for boats, while elsewhere it is dangerous for outboard engines. Important with slow speed and checking charts / sonar. Exploration outside the main route is recommended by kayak. 50 minute drive to the beautiful capital of Vestland, Bergen, with Fløybanen, Ulriksbanen, Akvariet and Bryggen with their cozy restaurants.
