Steigen is known for its beautiful coastal landscape and this holiday home is ideally located in quiet surroundings, 100 m from the Nordfolda fjord. Child-friendly with a fine sandy beach nearby. Wonderful hiking opportunities for the whole family. Rich sea fishing in the fjord where boats can be hired. Horses can be hired for riding trips. The holiday home was renovated in 2010 and has everything on one floor. 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have 2 single beds and a bunk bed, while one bedroom has a bunk bed for 2 pers. A heat pump that provides a comfortable temperature all year round and a wood stove in the living room for coziness and warmth on extra cold days. In the living room there is a TV with Norwegian and international channels. Free internet/broadband with large capacity. The holiday home is located on a sunny and child-friendly plot and has a terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The house has some views of the fjord. The mound close to the house has been made into a great viewing area with chairs and tables. Here you can sit with your morning coffee during the sunrise in the east and enjoy the view of the beautiful fjord landscape with the island of Hjartøya and Kjerringøy in the south. And the fresh sea air out here is cleansing for body and soul. The place is child-friendly. Only 300 m from the house, you find a shallow beach where children can pick stones and shells. Great for walks along the sea and on the many mountain peaks in Steigen. The landlord runs a farm where Icelandic horses and døla horses can be hired for riding trips. A great experience, especially for the children. Good parking space by the house, 12 km to the grocery shop. Great starting point for day trips by car around Steigen. On Engeløya, the Steigen church, old Viking tufts and fortifications from the Second World War are well worth a visit. The fjord is very rich in fish and a 14-foot boat with a 6 hp engine can be rented. An additional 18-foot open aluminum boat with steering console, 6 rod holders and 50 hp outboard motor for rent. The boat is located at the floating jetty in the marina 700 m from the house and must be booked in advance. Max 4 people. THE BOAT IS AVAILABLE IN THE PERIOD 1.5-1.10
