Only 2-week rental. Check-in Fridays (now Jun 5, Jul 3, Aug 7) after 1300 and check-out Thursdays before 1300 the second week. So boat hire for fishing.
A rather modern log home w / 3 bedrooms and large loft.
Bathroom / toilet w / washing machine / dryer, and sauna. Living room w / sitting area and kitchen w / dining table, stove, micro, dishwasher, combi fridge, freezer compartment, etc. Underfloor heating and wood burning stove. Terrace w / outdoor furniture.
Boats: 16ft w / 90HK 2-str Nissan and 15ft w / 25HK 2-str Yamaha, both w / chart plotter / echo sounder.
The boats are moored with land ropes. It is about 250 meters from the holiday home and down to the sandy beach, and about 300 meters down to the boats.
When renting a boat, free access to CE approved life jackets is available within a certain range: 1 piece for 15-30kg, 1pcs for 20-40kg, 2pcs for 30-60kg and 4pcs for 60x90kg.
The place:
The house is located entirely for itself in a peaceful area about 7 km south of Saltstraumen, with one of the world's strongest maelstrom.
It is about 250 meters from the holiday home and down to the sandy beach, and about 300 meters down to the boats.
The accommodation has good access to all types of sea fishing activity close by.
On both sides of the Åseli bridge, the area is very popular for picnics, family excursions and hiking activities. This has been, and is, a very attractive natural area right down the sea, with a natural and idyllic sandy beach.
The whole area is rich in nature experiences. Often seen sea eagles, moose and fox.
The property is situated with a nice view of the characteristic children of Børvasstinnan in the southwest, and towards Marvollvika and Fjellvika in the west. On the top of Vakkerhaugen, above the rental housing, one can look towards Bodø and Landego, and in clear weather see Lofotveggen.
The accommodation also has good access to the mountain top trips in Børvasstinnan, as well as the mountain terrain and mountain water in this area south of Åseli. This is also a popular hunting ground for all seasons.
In the Salten area you can explore glaciers, climb the mountains, dive or raft in a RIB in the world's strongest tides, explore area in a kayak, experience midnight sunshine, play golf in the middle of the night, experience natural areas alone or along with a guide, shopping, sightseeing, work out and go to the spa, go to the museum and experience culture, and much more.
Renting boats:
Boat 16ft w / cabin and 90HK Nissan 2-str outboard engine, w / chartplotter and echo sounder - for just NOK 6500 per week - maximum 5 persons on board.
Open boat 15ft w / 25HK Yamaha 2-str outboard engine, w / chartplotter and echo sounder - for rent NOK 4500 per week - maximum 4 persons on board.

The house:
The accommodation has three bedrooms, with 2 single beds 90x200cm, 1 single bed 90x200cm, 1 single bed 90x200cm, and loft with 5 single beds 90x200cm.
Guests are given free access to a set of sheets, duvet and pillow cases, and towel for every tenant. Duvets / duvet covers are in size 140x220cm, and pillows / pillowcases are in size 50x70cm. Each set is replaced on Fridays every week.
WIFI (3G / 4G) is included. Additional bandwidth can be purchased. Satellite TV is equipped with ViaSat TV and radio channels.
Guests have free access to all basic products found in the accommodation at check-in, but we greatly appreciate that the guest replaces consumption within reasonable limits, as the main rule must be that next guests must experience approximately the same access to basic consumer goods.
Interaction with Guests
We would like to meet our guests on arrival to provide information about the rental housing and the boats. In addition, we wish to be available to provide information about the opportunities and activities of the place, and generally wish to provide a service, as far as is practicable, so that our guests get the best benefit from the rental period.
Other things to note
When renting a boat, use of life jacket is mandatory, without exception at all. Use of a boat is at the tenant's responsibility and risk, and it is expected that the tenant acts calmly and safely when using the boat.
The accommodation is adapted for rent for 4 persons, which can be extended to a maximum of 6 - six - people. There are extra rentals for the number of over 4 persons.

Coop Prix Saltstraumen is the nearest colonial shop, with petrol pump machine, between the two bridges and about 5 km from the rental housing. The shop is open on Saturday 0800-2200 and Sunday 1000-2200, and all other days 0700-2300.
In the town of Saltstraumen there are cafes and hotel, about 7 km from the residence.
The address of the holiday home is Saltstraumveien 1713. You continue south from Coop Saltstraumen, passing a bridge, and continue to a third bridge. Just before the bridgehead of the third bridge, one road goes up the terrain to the left.
