Positive: The cabin was cozy and the surrounding nature very beautiful and relaxing! It was nice to have the information on things to do nearby, we visited many of them (e.g. the largest cave in Norway). There was a good selection of cutlery, a freezer compartment in the refrigerator, storm lantern and a dish brush, and the heating worked efficiently. The nearest grocery shops can be reached in 9-15 minutes by car. Sveggvika Gjestehus nearby offers dinner if you book it in advance (we didn't try that).

Negative: Nothing major, the stay was very pleasant. The biggest disadvantage was the size of the cabin taking into account that there was a lot of stuff already everywhere (decorative items on shelfs etc) so that there was not enough room for the suitcases or other visitor things. The sofa was too wide to fit in. The stairs were so steep that it wouldn't have been easy to carry bags upstairs. The other disadvantage was that since this is a private home/cottage, there were things that we didn't know if it was ok to use them (food such as flour, cookies, drawing paper, fixing tools). We asked if it was ok to use the bike (that took a major space at the back door) but it was not possible. The oven that is visible in the pictures was not a microwave oven (which would be nice instead of a regular oven, but of course that depends on the needs of the owners, since there is not enough space for both). The blackout curtains did not cover the side windows in the front bedroom. The door locks were not easy to use.
