This is a unique cottage of good standards. 5 person outdoor whirlpool installed (in 2016) at the end of the terrace with a view of the fjord. The whirlpool is cheap to run, should be booked in advance and costs NOK 500 to prepare, paid upon arrival. The natural stone on the outside walls can be seen on the indoor fireplace, giving the living room a warm atmosphere. Stone floors and heated floors in the kitchen/living room and hallway. Gather around the wooden dining table and enjoy lovely meals in the well equipped kitchen. There is drinking water directly from Folgefonna glacier! There is personal touch to the interiors and leather furniture in the living room. The bathroom has tiled floors and walls, and the largest bathroom has a whirlpool. A steep staircase leads up to the mezzanine that has 165 cm headroom and a pitched roof. Best suited for children. There are 2 bedrooms and a charming living room for children. Two double beds are 120 cm wide. Both living rooms has TVs with many German channels and a DVD player. Enjoy the panoramic fjord view from the large, secluded terrace. Here you can barbecue, relax in the sun and watch the large cruise boats as they sail along the fjord. The owner can help you with renting bicycles on spot, arranged upon arrival. The motorboat is available for rent between April 1st and October 15th. Follow the stairway from the cottage and down to the large dock. Here you can sit on the bench, watch the sunset and listen to the waves rolling in. From the dock there are steps down to the boat. Life jackets included. A private fish cleaning table at your disposal. Good fishing conditions in the fjord. Jondal is a paradise for outdoor life enthusiast. Signed hiking trails, summer skiing and berry picking just behind the cottage, are some of the activities this area has to offer. No letting to youth groups. Deposit for house and boat, as well as boat rental, bed linen and final cleaning, are to be paid upon arrival. Towels are NOK 50 per person and must be requested in advance. NB! Arrive before 17.30 and departure at 08.30 earliest.
