The apartment has a private place on the large jetty and a terrace with a view of the fjord, mountains and glacier. Good fishing in the fjord from the shore and from the boat and inland lakes with many trout. Fishing boats with echo sounder for hire. Filleting place outside and inside in the cellar. Nearby there are good hiking possibilities such as Dalsete, Kråkenosi and Vesoldo. In Dalsete there are great cross-country skiing trails. Approx. 20 minutes by car to Norheimsund with grocery store and café. Jondal Glacier (open May-Sept) is about 1 hour by car. Kvamskogen ski center with 60 km of cross-country ski trails and many ski lifts and slopes is about 60 km away. One of Norway's National Tourist Routes runs through the Hardanger region, and here you can also experience the mighty waterfall Steindalsfossen. At the museum Hardanger Fartøyvernsenter you can get an insight into the local boat building history, row traditional wooden boats of this area and learn to make ropes. In May, Hardanger hosts the famous fruit blossom.
