The river is not only beautiful to look at, but also offers good fishing for salmon (remember fishing license and season). You can also swim in the river. Near the cottage also graze pasture animals, which create a wonderful and rural atmosphere. If you like hiking in the mountains, there are many and good opportunities for it. Around the house there is also a good romping place for the whole family, which invites you to play on long summer days. For excursions it is worth to experience the spectacular Lysefjord, Preikestolen and Byrkjedalstunet. The latter is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Rogaland.
