In summer and winter you can make trips to Sauda, where you will find most of the facilities and to the swimming facilities, a golf park and good opportunities for skiing and cross-country skiing in Svandalen. Day trips to Ryfylke and to Preikestolen, to the Stavanger region with the Royal Park and to Hardanger via national tourist routes are possible. The nearest grocery store is 15 minutes walk away.

Note: There is a steep gravel hill leading up to the cabin, so you will need a four-wheel drive or possibly a rear-wheel drive to drive all the way up. You can also park your car at the end of the gravel road and walk about 150 meters up a steep hill to the cabin.
