The many sleeping places in the main building and the extra sleeping place in the annex make this vacation property perfect for two families. The house has a beautiful view of the valley. In summer and autumn Ljørdalen offers many activities, such as fishing, paddling and cycling. There are also several kilometers of marked hiking trails. Close to the ski lift there is a 500 m long bicycle route, which has been built especially for "cycling on trails". In the river Ljøra you can fish for trout, grayling and pike, or go for a quiet paddle (canoe and pick-up can be ordered). The valley has an almost untouched nature with a rich animal and plant life. Fulufjellet National Park is one of the closest neighbors and is a beautiful area; there grows one of the oldest trees in the world, which took its first roots 10,000 years ago. Sherpa have created new trails to facilitate access to the national park. From Scandinavian Mountains Airport (SCR) in Rörbäcksnäs/Sälen on the Swedish side of the border, it is 35 minutes by car.
