The river has the reputation of being a top river for fly fishing. Here you can make nice long paddling trips, there is also the possibility to be picked up, so you do not have to paddle in the countercurrent. From Scandinavian Mountains Airport (SCR) in Rörbäcksnäs/Sälen on the Swedish side of the border it is 35 minutes by car.
