For city visits it is only a short drive to Haugesund with all the stores, pedestrian areas and restaurants by the pier. Karmøy is also worth a visit with the Viking farm in Avaldsnes, the animal park in Torvastad and the cozy little towns of Åkrahamn with the Åkrasanden and the sailing ship town of Skudeneshavn with its beautiful wooden house building.
