The national park and the coastal path start close to the holiday home. The region's largest town, Skjærhalden, is also not far away. There are several restaurants with outdoor seating, a marina and a beach. From here you can also take a boat trip to Strømstad in Sweden or go island hopping in the Hvaler archipelago. Norway's sixth largest city, Fredrikstad, is a 20-minute drive from the house. Here you can stroll through the old town and the historic fortifications from the 17th/18th century.
