Pleasant holiday home with a fantastic location, a view of the Oslofjord and a short distance to the sea. There is a large, beautiful terrace where you can enjoy yourself on hot summer days. The cabin is located on idyllic Hollungen, a car-free island on Hvaler. There is a ferry from Skjærhalden to the island, the car can be parked at Skjærhalden at a cost of NOK 980 per week. The ferry runs often and there is no problem getting back and forth. Approx. 950 meters walk from the ferry to the holiday home, wheelbarrow for luggage. If you have your own boat, there is a boat berth right next to the cabin that can be used. The cabin consists of two floors. Ground floor with open living room and kitchen with dining room. TV with Canal digital. Three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two single beds. Two of the bedrooms have access from the terrace. Bathroom with WC and sink. Downstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Entrance to the bedrooms both from outside and inside. Another bathroom with WC and shower, as well as a separate laundry room. At Skjærhalden, there is a beautiful beach as well as nice restaurants and shops. At the marina, there are saltwater aquariums with local fish during the summer and a small crab fishing spot. Beautiful coastal path that takes you from the center through lovely pine forest, wild clematis and lush wildlife, berry and mushroom opportunities. Hvaler has several thousand islands where you can go "island hopping" to the various islands of Herføl and Nordre/Søndre Sandøy with the ferry "Oline". On Nordre Sandøy you will find Café Oline, and on Herføl there is a restaurant. Bicycles can be borrowed/rented through Hvaler municipality, please see Hvaler municipality for info. Bicycles are great on island hopping! If you want a trip to Sweden, it's only 50 minutes with the boat Vesleø, which has its own duty-free shop on board. Strømstad is a cozy coastal town with grocery stores and restaurants, all within walking distance.
